Role purpose
In this role you'll provide real-time support to the Regional Head of Sales and Sales team, encompassing both pre and post-sales activities from an operational standpoint. You'll also be the main point of contact for operations within the EMEA region.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide application support during Proof of Concept (POC) phases and coordinate inventory checking process
- Coordinate Defence Export Controls (DEC) and Export License procedures in preparation for lodgment
- Fulfil customer orders from processing to tracking
- Validate order / invoice details against Salesforce opportunities, coordinate order billing and invoicing
- Manage product lead times and availability requests from customers
- Investigate and recommend optimal shipping options and communicate with vendors. Ensure shipping compliance with state, federal, and international regulations
- Coordinate and communicate with external parties to ensure the acquisition and delivery of shipments
- Communicate with customers post-sale and other relevant departments
- Manage Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) processes
- Inventory management and coordination of equipment dispatch / returns
- Maintain Salesforce data cleanliness (SFDC hygiene)
- Generate and analyze sales team performance reports via Salesforce analytics.
Skills / Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification required
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in order processing and coordination
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills, proficiency in data management
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Effective at managing multiple concurrent workstreams, balancing competing priorities, maintaining high level of attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
- Competence in G-Suites for analysis, data visualisation and reporting purposes.
- Advanced knowledge of SFDC practices, particularly emphasising operational functions
- Familiarity with government trade and export licensing regulations in the EMEA region is advantageous
