Position overview
We are seeking a motivated Production Engineering Intern to join our electronics manufacturing team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment, working alongside experienced engineers to improve processes, boost productivity, and ensure the delivery of high-quality electronic products. The role is ideal for a student or recent graduate in engineering looking to apply their technical knowledge in a real-world manufacturing setting.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assist production engineers in evaluating and improving manufacturing processes and workflows
  • Support process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and cost reduction
  • Participate in troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions
  • Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and recommend improvements
  • Assist with creating and updating manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality, design, and operations
  • Help implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles on the production floor
  • Contribute to equipment setup, calibration, and testing procedures under supervision

Qualifications & Skills

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electronics or Industrial Engineering
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, electronics assembly, or process engineering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with CAD, MATLAB, or similar tools is a plus
  • Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
