About the role

As a Product Manager for our Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) product line, you will work closely with senior product leadership, engineering, and commercial teams to support the definition and execution of the product roadmap. You will combine your technical knowledge of navigation systems with insights into customer and market needs across industries such as defence, automotive, maritime, and surveying. Your work will help ensure successful product development, market alignment, and sustained product performance.

What you'll do

  • Contribute to the definition and execution of the product roadmap for our INS family, covering both new product development and sustaining activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define product requirements, support verification activities, and ensure timely delivery through the R&D stage gate process.
  • Work with sales and customer support to address technical queries, prioritise bugs and improvements, and clarify software and hardware capabilities.
  • Analyse product performance, portfolio mix, and customer feedback to help identify growth opportunities and inform roadmap updates.
  • Support the creation of technical documentation, sales enablement materials, and product training content.
Represent the product team in webinars, trade shows, and customer meetings to gather market insights and promote the INS offering.
  • Build cross-functional understanding by working with teams across the organisation and contributing to shared goals.

Qualifications, skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in technical environments (Hardware, SaaS, or Engineering-led companies).
  • Proven Product launch experience: demonstrated ability to take features or products from concept to launch. You have written requirements, managed backlogs, and worked with marketing to release products.
  • Technical Fluency: Comfortable bridging the gap between Hardware and Software. You can discuss firmware constraints and API integrations with engineers without getting lost.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working directly with Engineering, Sales, and Operations to unblock issues and deliver on time.
  • Domain Interest: Exposure to robotics, autonomous systems, or GNSS/INS is a plus (or a strong desire to learn deep-tech).
  • AI/ML Awareness: Familiarity with how AI/ML models integrate into hardware or software workflows is highly desirable.
  • Technical Translation: Ability to translate complex technical concepts (hardware/software) into clear business value and user requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven ability to lead R&D, GTM, and Ops teams without formal authority to drive program execution.
  • Strategic Communication: Track record of synthesizing complex data into clear strategic narratives (PRFAQs, Business Cases) for executive stakeholders.
  • Data-Driven Prioritization: Ability to use quantitative data and qualitative customer insights to ruthlessly prioritize the roadmap.
  • Commercial Acumen: Experience balancing customer needs, market dynamics, and unit economics to build profitable products.
  • Customer Discovery: Expertise in conducting primary customer research to uncover deep user pain points.
