The opportunity
As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll play a key role in our growth by building and sourcing the best talent across Australia. You will partner with our leadership team, creating deep and diverse talent pools while managing multiple open positions independently. Your broad hiring background across sales, product, and other specialisations within a tech or product business will be invaluable, and you'll excel at headhunting and hiring from both active and passive talent pools. Additionally, you'll lead the charge on our talent branding efforts while driving high levels of data accuracy in our ATS.

What you’ll do

    • Effectively manage multiple open positions across various levels and teams, covering the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing and talent branding to negotiation and onboarding.
    • Act as a strategic partner to hiring leaders, providing deep expertise on market insights and talent landscapes.
    • Manage the hiring leader and candidate experience by providing regular updates, setting expectations, and delivering timely and effective feedback throughout the interviewing and hiring process.
    • Creatively utilise various sourcing channels such as job boards, advertising, networking, social media, and our Atomi referral program to identify and engage qualified talent.
    • Collaborate with hiring leads and the wider team to develop innovative solutions for sourcing hard to fill positions.
    • Manage the data accuracy within our ATS and continue to build out reporting functionality and recruiting insights.
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with key candidate communities to develop deep and robust talent pools.
    • Work collaboratively with our People & Talent team across a range of projects including Talent Branding, Onboarding, Diversity & Inclusion (D&I), Learning & Development (L&D), and Engagement & Culture.

What you'll bring to Atomi

    • Expertly confident in the overall process of identifying, sourcing, screening, shortlisting, and interviewing candidates across a range of disciplines within a tech or product business.
    • Skilled in prioritisation and time management, with the ability to fearlessly juggle multiple tasks and business priorities at once.
    • Extremely creative in your recruitment techniques with the ability to think outside the box in order to find and source the best talent.
    • Expert negotiation skills with a deep understanding of market expectations and industry expectations.
    • Comfortable managing a variety of open roles simultaneously, ensuring an incredible experience for both candidates and hiring leaders.
    • Confident in successfully pitching positions to passive candidates, influencing offer negotiations and finalising acceptance of job offers.
    • Well-developed ability to work collaboratively with all teams and at all levels, building genuine trust and credibility amongst stakeholders.
    • Deep understanding of the needs, motivators, and opportunities of hiring leaders and candidates.
    • Excellent adaptability coupled with patience and flexibility enabling you to confidently and calmly respond to business and candidate hiring needs.
