The opportunity
We’re looking for a Team Leader who thrives on developing people and driving delivery. In this role, you’ll guide a group of content creators to design and publish engaging social sciences courses for high school students and teachers across Australia.
Your focus will be twofold: supporting people to do their best work, and making sure projects land on time and to a high standard. You’ll coach your team, keep workflows clear and achievable, and shape how social sciences content is delivered at Atomi.
You don’t need to be a social sciences specialist. What matters most is your leadership style and project management skills. If you studied the subject, tutored it, or simply loved it at school or uni, that spark of interest is more than enough.

What You'll Do

  • Support and coach a team of ontent creators
  • Run regular 1:1s, set clear goals and provide constructive feedback.
  • Hire, onboard and train new team members, helping them succeed from day one.
  • Build a culture of collaboration, trust and continuous learning.
  • Own project timelines and release schedules for social sciences courses.
  • Use tools like Google Sheets and Jira to plan, track and manage work.
  • Monitor progress and solve issues quickly to keep delivery on track.
  • Ensure every course meets our standards for clarity, accuracy and pedagogy.
  • Guide your team on workflows and ways of working that make delivery smoother.
  • Review and refine content processes for efficiency and quality.
  • Keep an eye on curriculum updates and competitor resources to inform priorities.
  • Balance day-to-day leadership with shaping longer-term improvements.

What You'll Bring to Atomi

  • A motivating leadership style that brings out the best in others.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Confidence making decisions and solving problems under pressure.
  • Experience leading people, setting goals and running reviews.
  • Clear and direct communication, with strong collaboration skills.
  • Strategic thinking paired with sharp attention to detail.
  • An interest in social sciences, formal or informal.

How to apply
Ironically for an education company, we’re not huge sticklers for qualifications. We’re more interested in how your skills and experience can contribute to our team. Make sure to include links to any relevant projects, like your portfolio, writing, GitHub, etc. - whatever helps us understand what you're good at, what you're passionate about, and why you’d be a great fit at Atomi.
We also know great people come from all kinds of backgrounds, so even if you don't meet all the requirements we've listed, you should still apply.
