About Us 🚀
Bridgit is a leading non-bank lender transforming the way Australians access property equity. Purpose-built to make property transactions faster and easier, we pioneered the Buy Now, Sell Later solution - empowering homeowners to unlock their property equity and move on their terms. With a simple digital application, fast approvals, and flexible loan options, we're making property finance seamless and stress-free.
We're now five years old and making huge strides. We've accredited over three-quarters of Australia's broker network, and launched white label solutions with Australia's largest aggregators - Connective, Aussie Home Loans, Finsure, and Loan Market Group - and we're just getting started.
Our momentum has been recognised with awards including Best Growth Story at the 2025 Fintech Awards, the 2025 Finder People's Choice Award for Lending Innovation, Deloitte's Tech Fast 50 2025, and a place among LinkedIn's Top 20 Startups in Australia 2025.
The difference you’ll make
Bridgit is growing fast, and our funding infrastructure needs to keep pace. With over $1.5 billion in bank warehousing, the treasury function is at the centre of everything we do. This is the role that keeps the engine running and builds what comes next.
As Treasurer, you'll own the full funding lifecycle, from negotiating facility terms and managing funder relationships, through to liquidity oversight, covenant compliance and ALCO governance. You'll also lead our wholesale credit fund, with a clear path to shaping its expansion into retail as the business grows.
You'll work across finance, lending, legal, and product, making the calls that determine how we fund our growth.
What you’ll do
Warehouse & Mezzanine Facility Management
Manage & Optimise: Oversee multiple warehouse facilities and mezzanine financing arrangements, ensuring operational performance in line with facility terms.
Negotiate Terms: Lead the negotiation of pricing, economic conditions (EC), and performance parameters (PP) across all funding facilities.
Covenant Compliance: Monitor and ensure ongoing compliance with all facility terms and covenants, escalating issues proactively to the CFO.
Trust Manager Reporting: Own the relationship with the trust manager, holding ultimate responsibility for the accuracy of cash waterfalls, ensuring correct payments are distributed to all related parties, and all reporting obligations are met on time.
Liquidity & ALCO
Liquidity Sufficiency: Ensure Bridgit maintains sufficient liquidity across all funding structures to support lending operations and business growth.
ALCO Leadership: Chair Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO) meetings, preparing reporting and driving decisions on funding strategy, pricing, and risk.
Stress Testing: Develop and maintain liquidity stress-testing frameworks appropriate to the scale and complexity of Bridgit's funding book.
Compliance, Audit & Regulatory Support
Facility Compliance: Own compliance with all terms across Bridgit's funding facilities, implementing controls and monitoring frameworks to ensure ongoing adherence.
Financial Covenants & Credit Licence: Ensure the company maintains compliance with all financial covenants across its facilities, always retaining sufficient headroom, and upholds obligations under its Australian Credit Licence and Australian Financial Services License.
Financier Audits: Manage and successfully complete all financier-required audits, ensuring warehouse operations are demonstrably in line with facility terms and conditions.
Regulatory Reporting: Support the broader finance team with statutory audits and regulatory reporting obligations, including ASIC and APRA-related matters where applicable.
Product Support & Funding Capacity
New Product Launch Support: Partner with Product, Credit, and Commercial teams on new product launches, ensuring funding structures can accommodate new asset types and lending criteria from day one.
Strategic Roadmap Alignment: Proactively assess funding flexibility and capacity against Bridgit's strategic and product roadmap, identifying gaps and securing solutions ahead of growth.
Identify Funding Alternatives: Research and evaluate alternative funding structures to diversify Bridgit's capital base, including a revolving RMBS program, forward flow arrangements, and other capital markets solutions suited to the portfolio.
Credit Fund
Fund Establishment: Play a key role in establishing Bridgit's wholesale credit fund, including structuring, documentation, and investor engagement.
Cross-Functional Delivery: Work with Legal, Finance, and Product teams to ensure new funding structures are designed, documented, and launched in compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks.
Investor Relations: Own investor relations for the credit fund, attracting new capital and managing ongoing communications with existing and prospective investors.
Fund Strategy: Own and evolve the credit fund strategy, starting with wholesale funding sources to support near-term growth, while also building out the operational infrastructure required to launch and run a retail fund as the platform scales.
Capital Markets
Debt Issuance & Execution: Lead structuring and execution of public debt issuances, managing the end-to-end process from term sheet through pricing and close.
Rating Agency Management: Own relationships with rating agencies (S&P, Moody's, Fitch), leading rating actions and ensuring the company's credit story is well positioned to support favorable terms and access to capital.
Syndication & Lender Relations: Run syndication processes with banks and institutional investors, building and maintaining a diversified lender base to support the company's funding needs across market cycles.
Develop Your Team: Lead, coach, and develop the Treasury Manager and Treasury Analyst, fostering a high-performance and collaborative team culture.
Build for Scale: Design scalable treasury processes and systems to support Bridgit's continued rapid growth.
