Our Purpose

DataMasque is a venture-backed, data privacy and synthetic data solution designed for regulated

enterprises that need to safely unlock the value of sensitive data. With high-performance

deterministic data masking, subsetting, and realistic synthetic data generation, DataMasque

enables secure use of production-quality data for development, AI/ML, analytics, testing, and

third-party collaboration — without risk of PII exposure. Trusted by major financial services,

insurance, government and healthcare organisations globally, DataMasque is built for scale,

auditability and compliance.

The Role

Drives product strategy with a deep understanding of the data security, privacy, sensitive data

discovery and the synthetic data landscape. Leverages market intelligence, regulated-industry

needs, customer insights, and competitive signals to define where DataMasque should invest

next. Work collaboratively with the head of engineering, customer success and the CEO to drive

the strategic direction and execution of the product vision, ensuring DataMasque remains the

category-defining platform for synthetically identical customer data.

Responsibili1es

  • Research and validate strategic product opportunities based on market demand, customer pain, regulatory shifts, and technology trends in data privacy and AI readiness.
  • Identify growth opportunities and whitespace where DataMasque can lead — not just compete. What are our AHA moments across discovery, usability and masking.
  • Develop strategic frameworks and product theses to align platform, engineering, and GTM execution.
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering leads on roadmap prioritisation, customer impact, and investment allocation across masking, synthetic data, automation, scale, and compliance features.
  • Define and monitor key product outcomes — including adoption, usage velocity, enterprise expansion, and revenue contribution.
  • Deliver competitive intelligence across data masking, synthetic data, privacy automation, and data security posture management.
  • Work directly with the CEO and exec leadership to connect business goals to product opportunity — shaping where DataMasque places its biggest bets next.

immersion, and competitive insight then translate that into crisp frameworks that shape thinking

across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams. You are comfortable influencing without

ownership or authority, earning trust through depth rather than volume. You thrive in highly

technical environments, enjoy thoughtful debate, and know how to guide decision-making even

when the landscape is nuanced, regulated, or ambiguous.

  • Ability to shape product direction through rigorous market analysis, customer research, and understanding of regulatory drivers across financial services, healthcare, insurance and government.
  • Comfort placing strategic product bets in a rapidly evolving landscape of privacy tech, synthetic data and AI enablement, balancing ambition with evidence.
  • Strength in competitive scanning, whitespace identification, and translating intelligence into actionable product direction and differentiation.
  • Works in true partnership with Engineering by challenging ideas constructively, valuing technical truth, and co-creating solutions rather than dictating them.
  • Consistently outcome driven: optimises for adoption, customer impact, enterprise value and long-term defensibility, not feature volume or roadmap velocity alone.

Technical Capabilites

Experience

  • 5+ years product management/strategy in B2B SaaS or enterprise software
  • Track record of strategic product decisions that drove business outcomes
  • Startup experience preferred

Skills

  • Enterprise data management understanding

  • Strategic communication (technical and business audiences)
  • Market intelligence and competitive positioning
  • Working across cross-functional teams.
