Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do

As a Tech Lead, you will be pivotal in shaping our platform’s technical direction and delivering scalable, secure, and innovative solutions:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of solutions.
• Ensuring security, efficiency, and compliance are considered at every stage.
• Architect scalable and secure systems with built-in redundancies and high availability.
• Oversee the implementation of security best practices, including compliance monitoring, configuration management, and identity management.
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Guide and mentor developers, fostering a high-performing engineering team.
• Act as a barrier to inefficient, insecure, inadequate solution design and delivery
• Review and approve changes to design or code to ensure they comply with all requirements and are aligned to the strategic vision of the product
• Document key aspects of the solution and QA documentation prepared by others
• Responding to security and compliance requests from customers, e.g. security assessment questionnaires
• Proactively monitor systems for performance and security, ensuring operational excellence.

Skills & Experience – What You Bring

• Expertise in AWS Cloud Services: Hands-on experience with services such as ECS, Cognito, Step Function, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, and AWS Security Hub and tools for scalable and secure deployments.
• Security & Compliance Knowledge: Proven ability to design systems that prioritize reliability and security, with a deep understanding of common compliance requirements and how to implement them effectively
• A track record of problem-solving, innovation, and delivering within agile environments.
• Proficiency in Java & Spring Framework
• Full SDLC Management: Experience leading end-to-end development cycles, ensuring secure, compliant, and high-quality releases.
• Compliance Monitoring & Management: Expertise in managing and monitoring compliance in cloud environments, with knowledge of best practices and frameworks.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to guide teams and align technical strategy with business goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Equivalent industry experience may be considered.
