About the role
We’re looking for a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help accelerate pipeline creation and revenue growth.
This role exists to bridge the gap between Marketing demand generation and Sales execution, ensuring inbound interest is rapidly converted into qualified opportunities while proactively creating new pipeline across target accounts.
You will play a critical role in building early-stage opportunities, expanding stakeholder coverage inside enterprise accounts, and helping Fortiro maximise growth across both new and existing customers.
What you’ll be doing
Qualify and convert inbound leads by following up marketing enquiries quickly, running discovery conversations, and booking high‑quality meetings for Account Executives that progress into pipeline.
Execute targeted outbound prospecting into named enterprise accounts, using phone, email and LinkedIn to create first meetings and net‑new pipeline.
Identify and engage decision‑makers and key stakeholders, building multi‑threaded relationships across business units to reduce single‑thread risk.
Apply agreed qualification frameworks to assess interest, urgency and fit, confidently progressing, pausing, or closing opportunities.
Work with Account Executives to uncover expansion opportunities across existing customers, identifying new teams, use cases, or divisions.
Support marketing campaigns by driving registrations and attendance for webinars and events, and converting content engagement into qualified sales conversations.
Maintain strong speed‑to‑lead discipline and accurate CRM records, ensuring all activity, notes, next steps and stage updates are captured in HubSpot.
Track and report on activity, meetings booked and pipeline created, and share regular feedback on market responses, messaging effectiveness, and campaign performance.
What you’ll bring to the role
Proven experience in SDR, BDR, inside sales or pipeline generation roles
Strong outbound prospecting capability across phone, email and LinkedIn
Experience qualifying inbound leads and progressing opportunities
Strong communication skills with confidence speaking to senior stakeholders
Experience using CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred)
Highly organised with strong follow-up discipline and attention to detail
Resilient, energetic and comfortable working to activity and pipeline targets
Commercial curiosity and ability to understand customer pain points quickly
Experience selling SaaS or technology solutions is highly desirable
Experience selling into enterprise or financial services is advantageous
