At Go1, we exist to enable companies to achieve the impossible by maximizing the potential of their people. From our humble beginnings to becoming the world’s largest aggregator of online learning content, our purpose has remained people-first. We believe in a future where individuals, organizations, and society can continually progress — powered by accessible, relevant learning. That’s why we bring together learning content from over 250 leading providers under a single subscription, making skill development and compliance training the easiest part of the job.

We’re curious by nature and driven by the belief that the best ideas come from enabling others. Our team—diverse in background but aligned in purpose — is the reason we’ve come this far. Every idea. Every step forward. Every learner's potential maximized.

Together, we’re building more than a solution — we’re creating a movement. One where our customers spend more time doing what they love — developing people — and less time on the things they don’t. And there’s still so much more ahead. Join us as we shape a culture to earn the love and loyalty of our customers and become the preferred learning content aggregator.

We are looking for a Revenue Accounting Manager to join the team! In this role, you’ll take the lead on the month-end close process for order-to-cash, making sure everything lines up with ASC 606 and our internal policies. You’ll be reviewing contracts, approving billing and revenue schedules, and handling journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis. You’ll also manage revenue reporting and help tie it back to key business metrics like ARR. We're after someone who deeply understands ASC 606 and ASC 340-40, can tackle tricky revenue questions, and provide insights that help drive smart business decisions. Based in the Australian Eastern Time Zone (AEST/AEDT), this role supports a globally distributed team and executive leadership primarily located in the United States—so flexibility in working hours will be essential to ensure strong collaboration and visibility.

Here’s a taste of what you'll be doing:

  • Lead and oversee the order to cash month-end close process in accordance with ASC 606 and company policies, including pre-deal & post-deal contract review, billing & revenue recognition schedule review & approval. Prepare revenue adjusting entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis.
  • Deal review and approval in Salesforce on finance related contract terms
  • Review and approve the calculation of sales commissions.
  • Prepare and review revenue-related reports and bridge the gap between revenue and other critical business metrics (i.e. ARR). Ensure accurate, complete, and timely delivery of revenue analyses and reports.
  • Provide guidance on complex revenue recognition issues and draft memos when needed. Apply technical expertise under ASC 606 & ASC 340-40 to resolve accounting challenges and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Process Improvement: identify opportunities to streamline and automate the processes and implement or upgrade the systems related to the supervised areas.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process, providing necessary documentation and explanations related to revenue recognition.
  • Supervise and mentor a global team across APAC and the US, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success, and revenue operations, to review and structure contracts, ensuring proper revenue recognition and reporting.

You will have:

  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a combination of public accounting and SaaS industry experience.
  • Revenue recognition in NetSuite, billing, and commission calculation experience is a must.
  • Thorough understanding of ASC 606 & ASC 340-40
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Join our team at Go1 and be at the forefront of transforming education through innovative learning solutions. Together, we can change the world. One learner at time.
