Job Summary

We are currently evolving our technology stack to a modern MERN architecture (MongoDB Atlas, Express, React, Node) and adopting a serverless approach with GraphQL for API integration. Join us in shaping the future of fitness club management solutions.

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality assurance. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our next-generation product through rigorous testing and collaboration with our development team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with a multi-facetted team to build the next generation of Hapana fitness management software across multiple global regions.
  • Be able to utilize REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on web applications.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
  • Collaborate with developers to understand system functionality and design effective test strategies.
  • Execute automated and manual test cases to ensure software meets business and technical requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback on usability, functionality, and quality.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance testing practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software development.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
  • Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, Zephyr).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Work with other team members using the Scrum methodology in different time-zones.
  • Any additional tasks set out by management
