The Role
We're looking for a commercially minded Partnerships & Growth Manager to lead Linkby's expansion with Chinese D2C brands and agencies looking to scale internationally. You'll own the full cycle, from prospecting and pitching to onboarding and long-term account growth, positioning Linkby as a core growth channel for brands entering the US, UK, AU, FR, DE and NL.
Location: Based in Greater China, with a strong preference for Shenzhen and Shanghai. Candidates in Hong Kong, Hangzhou, Guangzhou and Beijing will also be considered. Remote-first working environment.
What You'll Do
Identify, engage and onboard Chinese D2C brands and agencies looking to scale into international markets
Prospect, pitch and close new advertisers and agency partners onto the Linkby platform
Build and nurture a pipeline of high-potential advertisers and agencies, converting opportunities into long-term revenue
Take full ownership of client revenue, driving consistent QoQ growth in line with KPIs
Act as the primary point of contact and strategic advisor for your portfolio, helping clients navigate international markets and scale performance through premium editorial
Drive retention through strong campaign performance, repeat activity and long-term partnerships
Work with Linkby teammates across existing advertiser relationships to expand spend and drive adoption of new products
Partner with our local teams in each market, and with global account management and publisher teams, to put forward expert recommendations, maximize revenue and ensure seamless campaign execution
Develop a strong understanding of Western media landscapes, consumer behavior and publisher ecosystems to guide Chinese brands entering these markets
Skills
1 to 3+ years in business development, partnerships or sales within digital marketing, advertising, ecommerce or adtech
Experience working with Chinese brands or agencies, ideally with exposure to international market expansion
Proven ability to hit and exceed revenue targets
Excellent communication and writing skills in English and Mandarin
Ability to translate complex global media strategies into clear, compelling client conversations
Understanding of, and experience within, the affiliate industry (familiarity with performance-based models is beneficial)
CRM experience (HubSpot preferred)
Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar tools is a plus, along with an understanding of local outreach methodology
An existing network of Chinese brands and/or agencies is a strong advantage
A self-starter mindset, comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
