You & your new role:

With several years of B2B/SaaS sales experience under your belt, you build relationships first, and sell second. A strategic thinker and planner who loves improving processes and is comfortable working in a place of ambiguity, you’ve always got the “next best step” in mind, able to solve complex problems as they arise to keep things on track. You’re a leader, both in sales performance, consistently exceeding ambitious sales targets and in people leadership skills, with experience supporting and mentoring a high-performing sales team.

At Matrak, you'll be responsible for implementing the Matrak Sales Playbook, created in conjunction with SaaS sales experts Winning By Design, maximising revenue, ensuring clients transition smoothly from the sales function to Customer Success, and developing and executing data-driven sales strategies.

The core of your role looks like this:

  • Engaging with prospects at various levels of seniority including the c-suite, to understand their unique and specific pain points and produce compelling business cases to meet their needs
  • Contacting potential prospects from personally-generated research and aggregated team data to build a robust sales pipeline
  • Leveraging CRM data to construct, forecast, and manage sales activity and drive pipeline to meet revenue targets and company goals
  • Growing and managing an autonomous, high-performing team of AEs, and ensuring the handover process to CSM’s is smooth
  • Establishing and monitoring department, team and individual performance against sales and retention targets
  • Collaborating with internal product teams and provide feedback from clients to help shape future development
  • Working closely with leadership to provide input on the growth of the business and align revenue strategy with overall company objectives
