Neara is seeking a part-time Finance and Admin Analyst to join our team and support our US operations. We have an entirely remote team in the US with employees spread across the country. You will play a crucial role in managing administrative processes, particularly invoicing and compliance, and employee onboarding/offboarding, allowing our US executives to focus on core responsibilities and regional KPIs.

This position is ideal for someone who values independence, analytical thinking, and meticulous execution with a strong understanding of varying state regulations. Ideal for a seasoned professional to utilize their expertise in a dynamic, remote environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Manage internal and external invoicing processes
  • Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records
  • Assist with tax filings, audits and maintenance of state records in accordance with state and federal laws
  • Assist with remote onboarding and offboarding processes for employees
  • Support tax and bookkeeping requests
  • Ensure timely execution of all administrative tasks
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure financial compliance and accuracy
  • Generate financial reports and assist in budget preparation
  • Coordinate and work on various projects and tasks concurrently
  • Maintain tech supplies and perform administrative tasks.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper/similar role and state compliance
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
  • Experience with financial systems and processes (specific systems can be learned on the job)
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Familiarity with remote employee onboarding and offboarding procedures
  • Experience with Gusto, Xero or Dext is highly regarded.
