About Job

We seek a seasoned Product Marketing Manager (PMM) in the United States to craft persona-specific marketing materials, power pre-sales and upsell efforts, and own full-funnel product marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will feature a blend of deep, industry-specific technical aptitude, and exceptional communication and presentation skills to spotlight the unique strengths of our highly technical product across diverse personas and use cases.

This person will master expert-level product demos while maintaining a high level of empathy for customer pain points and desired outcomes. This role demands close collaboration with product, marketing, sales, partnerships, and customer success teams to ensure captivating, unified messaging across critical touchpoints and deliver impactful product launches.

Skills & Qualification

  • Extensive experience in developing and implementing product marketing campaigns, preferably within the utility, energy, or technology sectors.

  • Strong understanding of the utility industry, including key players, regulatory considerations, and technological advancements.

  • Experience delivering gold-standard product content that arms sales to win more deals faster.

  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns that drive measurable results.

  • Expert in creating product demos.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.

  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Own development and institutionalization of crisp, multi-format product collateral that addresses the needs of different buyer personas and stages of the buyer journey

  • Execute compelling, context-rich, product-centric webinars on a regular cadence to drive mid-funnel engagement, build credibility with engineer personas, and build enthusiasm across a broader universe of stakeholders earlier in the sales process.

  • Drive full-scale product launch campaigns for new product functionality.

  • Help execute product-specific content, e.g., primers, one-pagers, and documentation to drive engagement and adoption.

  • Translate off-the-shelf collateral into polished email sequences and other formats opportunistically to deepen engagement, encourage multi-threaded opportunities, and accelerate the buyer journey.

  • Consult with sales in delivering deal-specific materials, including but not limited to tailoring collateral to specific prospect challenges.

  • Create and institutionalize an internal library of demo scripts of record across product applications, with supporting video materials.

  • Launch customer marketing efforts aimed at facilitating cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.

  • Consult with customer success in tailoring product marketing campaigns to specific customers to encourage account growth.

  • Facilitate more in-app engagement, e.g., guided tours, use-case-specific demos, push notifications about new events, etc.

  • Act as an extension of the Product team in driving prospective new market analysis and creating supporting materials.

  • Conduct ongoing voice of customer research to ensure we’re thinking ahead of customer needs in product and capture customer-led use case expansion opportunities so we are prepared to put in the market.

  • Regularly conduct and communicate competitor research.
