The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate Client Relationship Manager with a bookkeeping or accounting background, who is ideally CA qualified. In this role, you’ll be focused on managing customer relationships to ensure Visory’s small to medium business customers are deeply satisfied and their accounts are retained and grown.
As a Client Relationship Manager with Visory, you will support customers in achieving their goals by overseeing their onboarding journey, ensuring new service and workflow requests are captured and fulfilled, and looking for opportunities to add value. You will also play a key role in educating customers on platform utilisation and collaborating with Product to advocate for customer needs to influence the Product roadmap.
On an average day, you can expect to:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive the customer onboarding to a successful conclusion and reduce time to value
- Meet with business owners in line with regular account management structures and ensure Visory’s service is helping them to progress towards their business objectives
- Identify and address risks promptly, ensuring issues are escalated to the Quality team to rectify and outcomes for customers are achieved
- Keep customer documentation up to date based on dynamic customer needs
On an ongoing basis, you will:
- Communicate common customer behaviours to the sales, marketing and platform teams
- Look for opportunities to add value and proactively contact customers to discuss
- Develop and execute on Account management plans for each customer
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a demonstrated history of success in roles such as customer success, account management, project management, consulting, or sales
- Comes from a technical background, with previous experience or qualifications in bookkeeping or accounting and has the ability to communicate complex technical information in a digestible format to a wide range of stakeholders
- Has the ability to understand the technical requirements of the customer and work closely with cross-functional teams to implement solutions
- Is commercially minded with an ability to identify growth opportunities
- Has proficiency in data analysis and an ability to understand its impact on the customer journey
- Holds excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Is highly organised with an ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
