Now, Zitcha is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our innovative team in Australia. Join us in shaping the future of retail media as we revolutionise the industry and empower retailers and brands to achieve unparalleled success.

The Solutions Engineer will be responsible for the development and delivery of cutting-edge retail media solutions for our customers. In this role, you will work closely with our sales, success, platform, and engineering teams to understand customer requirements and develop solutions that meet their unique needs. You will also be responsible for driving the growth and scalability of our solutions business and working closely with our customers to ensure their success and satisfaction. This role will support our customers in both AU and USA from Sydney or Melbourne.

This role serves as the technical cornerstone throughout the customer journey, collaborating with the sales team and prospective retailers to understand business needs and demonstrate how Zitcha meets those needs. This role bridges customer business requirements with Zitcha’s retail media platform capabilities, ensuring successful configuration, integration, and adoption according to agreed timelines. Working at the intersection of Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams, you’ll qualify opportunities, design scalable solutions, and support successful implementations.

Responsibilities

Pre-Sales Engagement & Solution Design

  • Qualify opportunities against Zitcha’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) to focus on high-potential prospects
  • Lead technical discovery workshops to understand customer requirements across digital and in-store environments
  • Create and deliver demos that highlight platform value specific to customer needs
  • Assess customer technical landscapes to inform solution design and integration planning
  • Align customer challenges with platform capabilities to demonstrate tangible business value
  • Support the completion of RFPs and development of solution proposals
  • Create comprehensive scope documentation with clear deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities
  • Identify potential risks in the sale and subsequent delivery process
  • Develop repeatable processes and documentation to streamline and shorten the sales cycle

Gap Analysis & Product Alignment

  • Identify gaps between customer needs and existing platform capabilities
  • Represent market voice by providing customer insights to Product teams
  • Input into the product roadmap with local market requirements
  • Balance customer requirements with scalable, product-aligned approaches

Post-Sales Handover & Support

  • Document solutions and dependencies for smooth implementation handover
  • Assist with project planning and management for platform deployments
  • Lead technical sessions during implementation
  • Support platform configuration and supplier onboarding/training
  • Manage issue resolution and risk mitigation throughout implementation
  • Ensure successful post-implementation handoff to Customer Success teams

Product Expertise

  • Maintain deep knowledge of Zitcha’s solution, product functionality, APIs, and documentation
  • Stay informed about roadmap developments to communicate future capabilities
  • Contribute to repeatable solution templates and implementation frameworks

Selection Criteria

Essential

  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of software systems, databases, and APIs; Experience with paid media platforms (Meta, Google) and digital campaign optimization
  • Industry Knowledge: Retail/marketing domain expertise including e-commerce concepts; Understanding of ad tech ecosystem
  • Communication: Clear presentation and storytelling abilities across technical and business audiences; Ability to translate requirements into practical solutions
  • Collaboration: Experience working across Sales, Success, and Product teams; Customer-focused mindset and strong stakeholder management
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills and process orientation; Problem-solving abilities with flexibility to adapt to changing requirements

Desirable

  • Prior experience in designing and delivering retail media solutions
  • Proven ability to lead technical discovery and solution design workshops
  • Understanding of software development processes and product management principles
  • Demonstrated resilience in managing complex implementations
