Now, Zitcha is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our innovative team in Australia. This is your opportunity to shape the future of retail media as we revolutionize the industry and empower retailers and brands to achieve unparalleled success.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure

• Architect and manage secure, scalable infrastructure across AWS and GCP using Terraform and Spacelift.
• Provide reusable modules, guardrails, and automation for safe and consistent infrastructure provisioning.
• Manage containerization and orchestration platforms.

Security & Compliance

• Implement IAM, secrets management, and network policies to enforce least-privilege and zero-trust principles.
• Bake compliance evidence into the platform (audit logs, drift detection, policy-as-code).
• Maintain security and compliance frameworks like ISO 27001.

Developer Enablement & CI/CD

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions.
• Create systems and automation to speed up delivery while reducing risk, including automated testing.
• Act as a trusted advisor to engineers on infrastructure, cloud, and security best practices.

Reliability & Observability

• Use Datadog to deliver monitoring, logging, and alerting across infrastructure and applications.
• Define and execute strategies for high availability, resilience, and disaster recovery.
• Continuously improve performance, cost efficiency, and reliability across environments.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Partner with product engineering leaders to align infrastructure strategy with business goals.
• Lead incident response and postmortems with a focus on systemic improvements.
• Mentor and up-skill engineers, shaping best practices in automation, security, and cloud engineering.

Requirements

Mandatory

• Proven experience as a Platform, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Deep expertise with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Strong experience with AWS and GCP.
• Proficiency in Docker and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes or equivalent).
• Deep understanding of IAM, networking, and security in multi-cloud environments.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2) and security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data platforms.
• Understanding of data engineering workflows.
