Using our Localised Electrochemical Modelling (LEM) technology, Syenta is developing a new method to fabricate high-resolution structures at high speed, with applications in advanced packaging, chiplets and high-end solar cells.
Following strong growth in Australia, Syenta is expanding its operations into the United States to establish a key presence closer to major partners, customers, and collaborators in the semiconductor and AI hardware ecosystems. As part of this expansion, we’re seeking an experienced and proactive Office Manager and Executive Assistant (EA) to the COO to help shape and support our new US operations.

As Office Manager and EA, you’ll ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our US office while providing high-level administrative and operational support to the COO. The role

As Office Manager and EA, you’ll ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our US office while providing high-level administrative and operational support to the COO. This position is ideal for someone passionate about fostering a dynamic, welcoming workplace and who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment.
Day to Day
Office Manager
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including office set-up, supplies, and vendor coordination
- Oversee office maintenance and liaise with building management and service providers to ensure a functional, safe workspace
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for new US team members
- Organize company events, meetings, and team-building activities for the growing US team
- Assist with operational and administrative processes to streamline workflows during the company’s expansion phase
- Support cross-functional coordination between US and Australian teams
- Champion Syenta’s culture and values, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment
- Manage the COO’s inbox and calendar, prioritizing requests and maintaining flow, including drafting correspondence and handling admin tasks
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications related to the COO
- Prepare high-quality documents for internal meetings, external communications, and investor presentations
- Coordinate business travel and accommodation logistics
- 5+ years of experience as an Office Manager, Executive Assistant, or similar administrative role
- Proven ability to manage multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and judgment in handling sensitive information
- The ability to anticipate, identify and address challenges proactively, and be resourceful in solving problems
- Experience planning and coordinating team events, meetings, and community initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to help foster a strong, values-driven team culture
- A community-oriented mindset with a genuine passion for supporting colleagues, connecting people, fostering collaboration, and building a sense of belonging to enhance the workplace experience
- Confident using digital tools for office management, communication, and workflow coordination
