The role
This role will be a unique blend of technical expertise and strong communication skills to join our team. You will play a critical part in both the setup and management of our new cleanroom laboratory, while also representing our technology to external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have the technical aptitude to develop and refine new laboratory processes, combined with the confidence and presentation skills to conduct demonstrations for investors, potential customers, and collaborators. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to the advancement of cutting-edge technology while directly shaping how it is showcased to the world.

The role

Key Responsibilities
External-facing Presentation / Demonstrations
- Prepare and deliver live demonstrations of our LEM technology to external stakeholders to drive strategic roadmap for company
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling presentations tailored for both technical and non-technical audience
- Act as a subject matter expert during site visits and customer meetings
- Collaborate with Business Development team to align on demonstrations that highlight the value of our technology
- Develop, plan and execute process engineering projects
- Design, collect data, analyze and compile reports on significantly complex process engineering experiments
- Generate internal and external documentation for presentations, technical reports for integrated products, and generate process engineering specifications for integrated products
- Lead research and development of new technologies as appropriate
- Develop innovative solutions as part of proven track record of significant technology contributions
- Provide technical leadership for new product development and technical roadmap
- Investigate root causes of defects, variability, and substandard quality
- Oversee the layout and setup of new cleanroom laboratory facilities, ensuring compliance with ISO 14644 and GMP/GLP standards
- Coordinate installation and setup of critical process stations within the cleanroom environment
- Enable continuous improvement of laboratory procedures and equipment
- Drive our strategic roadmap through live demonstrations of our LEM technology to external audiences
- Further the development of our technology’s use within advanced packaging of semiconductors through technology development
- Develop and standardize wafer characterization procedures to measure conductivity of features, morphology, CD’s, defects, etc.
- Work closely with cross-functional and international team members including materials scientists, chemists, engineers to build to a fully integrated final product.
- Mentor junior engineers, lab assistants, and students
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Ph.D. is preferred.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to translate complex technology processes into clear, concise messages for non-technical audiences
- 5+ years of experience in technology development, preferably within advanced packaging of semiconductors
- Proficient in process development, QA/QC methodologies, and root cause analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Experience working within a cleanroom environment
