About the Role

The role of the Validation & Verification Engineer is to plan and execute verification for machine and assembly prototypes, translating requirements into test plans, protocols, and measurable acceptance criteria.

Core aspects of the role:

  • Developing test methods and setups (fixtures/ rigs, instrumentation).
  • Running component/ module/ system testing.
  • Verifying cross-discipline interfaces (mechanical, electrical, controls, sensors, software).

Day to Day


  • Define Validation and Verification (V&V) plans for prototypes, modules, and full machines (requirements → pass/fail criteria).
  • Create new test methods and protocols from scratch (setup, instrumentation, data, limits).
  • Build and validate test rigs, fixtures, and tooling for repeatable testing.
  • Execute test campaigns end-to-end and troubleshoot test setup or hardware issues.
  • Measure and verify precision/performance (repeatability, dynamics, vibration, force/torque, alignment).
  • Verify system and interface integration across mech/ electrical/ controls/ sensors/ software.
  • Analyze results, find root causes, and propose design/process fixes.
  • Deliver clear test reports and run re-test/regression to confirm improvements.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) readiness with verification of assembly/process fixtures and Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) parameters.

About You


  • Bachelor or equivalent in mechanical or mechatronics engineering or related.
  • 5-10 years' experience. Startup, semicon or advanced R&D experience is a plus.
  • You have a “get stuff done” mindset, you like to iterate quickly with attention to detail.
  • Cross-Disciplinary capability – solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, software and optical systems.
