About the Role
This role will be a unique blend of decisive leadership and strong technical expertise. You will be responsible for establishing and managing our new facility and cleanroom laboratory, while also being one of the primary external representatives of our technology. The ideal candidate will have the leadership experience required to drive a team of diverse expertise to achieve company goals, the technical aptitude to develop and refine new laboratory processes, combined with the confidence and presentation skills to conduct demonstrations for investors, potential customers, and collaborators. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to the advancement of cutting-edge technology while directly shaping how it is showcased to the world.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Establishment and Team Leadership
- Establish operations of new facility to enable live demonstrations of our technology to external stakeholders
- Build quality systems that enable efficient and reliable operations
- Manage on-site team from interdisciplinary backgrounds setting clear expectations of deliverables, developing team skillsets, and driving results towards company milestones
External-facing Presentation / Demonstrations
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling presentations tailored for both technical and non-technical audience
- Act as a subject matter expert during site visits and customer meetings
- Collaborate with Business Development team to align on demonstrations that highlight the value of our technology
Process Development and Optimization:
- Develop, plan and execute process engineering projects
- Design, collect data, analyze and compile reports on significantly complex process engineering experiments
- Generate internal and external documentation for presentations, technical reports for integrated products, and generate process engineering specifications for integrated products
- Lead research and development of new technologies as appropriate
- Develop innovative solutions as part of proven track record of significant technology contributions
- Provide technical leadership for new product development and technical roadmap
- Investigate root causes of defects, variability, and substandard quality
Cleanroom Laboratory Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of cleanroom laboratory facility, ensuring compliance with ISO 14644 and GMP/GLP standards
- Coordinate installation and setup of critical process stations within the cleanroom environment
- Enable continuous improvement of laboratory procedures and equipment
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Ph.D. is preferred.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to translate complex technology processes into clear, concise messages for non-technical audiences
- 5+ years of experience in technology development, preferably within advanced packaging of semiconductors
- Proficient in process development, QA/QC methodologies, and root cause analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Experience working within a cleanroom environment
